The Lightning Goddess Chapter: 1 Page: 1

Brittany's P.O.V:

-" I've become so numb, I can't feel you there, become so tired so much more aware~ " I sang quietly, while sitting in the meadow watching the sunset. It has been a while since I've seen any of my friends lately. It's just that they have been so busy lately, and never have had anytime to hang out.
*sigh*
I can't feel anything. It's like being without friends leaves a black hole inside me or something.
*ring* *ring* *ring*
Man, why do I always get calls at this time in the evening?!

-"Hello?" I asked.

-"Officer Brittany, we've got a number 127 on Sea perch Avenue."

*sigh*

-"I'll be there right away…"

I hung up. There's nothing worse than a number 127 to deal with at this time. By the Way a 127 is a crime in action…that's all I need to deal with now…I dashed out of the meadow and into the city, and blew right to Sea Perch Avenue. I saw nothing but emptiness. I walked down the avenue to try to find any source of crime, but I found none. Was I on the right avenue? I looked up and saw a sign. Yes I was in the right place.

-"Well, well, well…if it isn't the blue girl."

My ears then shot up and I flipped my head right in the direction that I heard the voice. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a blue male hedgehog. He stood tall and dominant, with a gun in his right hand, and an eye patch covering his left eye, with a huge scar down it. Although his white glittering bangs covered most of it. He had long sapphire quills, and dazzling lime green eyes like my own. He had a trademark tattoo on his shoulder, and I know that tattoo anywhere. It was a Thunderclassian commander tattoo. His peach chest fur came up and to the sides of his neck, and he wore an earring in his ear.

-"T-Taylor?!" I gasped.

-"Heh, seems you remember me missy. Long time no see." He grinned.

-"What are you doing here?! Aren't you forbidden to come here?!"

-"Well, now aren't you also forbidden?"

-"Y-yeah, but that's not the point! Why are you here?!"

-"To take you back home."

-"W-what?"

-"Yeah I said it."

-"But, why?" I asked sheepishly."

-"Because, ever since your disappearance, the control of lightning has not been protected. Luckily for me I was guarding it, awaiting your return, but you never came back, so I was sent out to find you, and here we are!"

-"Oh, but why me?"

-"Didn't your parents tell you?!"

-"N-no…"

-"You're the Goddess of Lightning!"

-"W-what?! I-I really am?!"

-"Yes…that's why I came…now can we go already!"
